“Venezuela up to date” (12-04-2014)

Ø To our readers in English: As promised at the end of the year 2012, we offer a “resume” of the principal news in relation  with several important things that happen in Venezuela. Much of this information are originated by free researchers of the Blog group, in order to inform our readers due to the omissions and distortions made by the Venezuelan and International radios, press and TVs.

ü At last and after more than six efforts made during February and March by President Maduro,   the opposition grouped in what they call Democratic Union Table, participated this week in meeting with the President, part of his cabinet ministers and members of the General Assembly. Plenty of clear political positions, both parties installed officially he first meeting. The President insisted in his new political proposition of Peace and Life, which has been attended by the private owners organized in chambers (production, distribution, commerce, etc) with good agreements and actions.

ü Opposition leaders did not made any reference to the terrorist actions and organizations in many provinces and Caracas city, with more than 40 persons dead and more than 600 injured. Instead they were asking for an ample decree from the President, giving pardon to more than 200 activists in prison and under several trials. 

ü The conference was attained by a representative of the Vatican mad three chancellors from Colombia, Ecuador and Brazil as “bona fide eye-witness”. Finally the meeting ended with the common compromise to repeat this kind of meetings in the next future.

ü The terrorist’s general groups are almost under control by government authorities.

ü The actual general view of the country is to become progressively into stability and peace.
